How DramaChat collects, uses and deletes your data.

1. Who we are
DramaChat is an AI romance and character chat app for adults. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app and the website at dramachat.app.
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, sign-in identifier, and the profile details you choose to add (display name, preferences, avatar).
- Usage data: characters you open, messages you send, stories you continue, purchases and in-app currency balance.
- Technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, language, IP address, crash logs and basic diagnostics.
- Payment data: handled by Apple. We never receive your card details.
3. Why we use it
- To run the app: keep your chats, progress, purchases and relationships between characters and levels.
- To generate replies, images and voice notes in character.
- To remember details you share so a character can refer to them later.
- To prevent abuse, enforce our content rules and keep the service safe.
- To fix bugs, measure performance and improve features.
4. AI processing
Messages you send are processed by our AI providers so a character can respond. We do not use your private conversations to train publicly available models. Providers process the data on our instructions and under contract.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app — hosting and database, payments, analytics, AI generation and moderation — and where we are required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, chats and generated media within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
6a. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Email penelopenorcombe@hotmail.com and we respond within 30 days.
7. Children
DramaChat is for adults only, 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using the app, contact us and we will remove the account.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on encrypted infrastructure. Access is limited to staff and contractors who need it to operate the service.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we update the date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
